Wow! I can't believe I am five months old today. We spent the entire weekend celebrating. Friday night, we went to the Smiths' house for dinner. I think that might have been my first dinner party. It was pretty cool - especially when they started setting off fireworks! Mommy and daddy may think the fireworks were for the Fourth of July, but I know they were really for me. We hosted another dinner party on Saturday, which was pretty cool. Then, on Sunday, we went to the "Patriotic Pool Party" at our neighborhood pool. Daddy and Thatcher swam while mommy and I lounged on the deck and danced along to the DJ. I had a blast jamming to "YMCA" and "Dancing Queen." What a way to celebrate turning five months old!
In other news, I've started sitting up. I did it for the first time a few weeks ago, and I keep trying to go for longer periods of time. Heaven knows that I've been doing crunches to build up my abs ever since I was about two months old...all in hopes of being able to sit up. It's nice to see my hard work pay off.
Hello Miss Tinkerbell! Congratulations on the Big 5 Months! Someday when some man is singing "You Must Have Been A Beautiful Baby" to you, you will surely have the proof when you pull out your baby pictures. I'm glad your first 4th of July was fun,and you're right, the fireworks were for you. We love and miss you very much!
